14-Year-Old Love Interest In K-Pop Music Video With Adult Sparks Disgust

Multiple members are adults.

Fresh off their recent debut under H Entertainment in April 2025, the girl group HITGS is gearing up for their first comeback with a digital single titled “Gross.” As anticipation builds, fans have already been treated to several concept images that tease the overall theme of the release.

On May 26, a teaser video dropped, showing the members reacting to a male actor passing by, hinting that he might play a significant role, possibly as a love interest in the upcoming video.

The actor in question, Sviat, is a trainee known from the reality show Project 7. Despite being eliminated in the eighth episode, he’s still training with JT Corea Entertainment.

However, his involvement as a love interest has stirred some controversy. At just 14 years old, Sviat is age-appropriate for members Hyerin and Iyoo, both 15, or even for Seohee, who recently turned 16. Yet, his proximity in age to Seojin, who will soon be 19, and 17-year-old VV has raised eyebrows, especially given Seojin’s status as an adult.

This controversy has further intensified given H Music Entertainment’s past controversies surrounding allegations of abuse by a CEO toward an underage trainee, leaving many fans disturbed by the decision.
