A shocking parking lot accident involving a 15-month-old baby has sparked controversy after a video surfaced on the Han Moon Cheol TV YouTube channel.
The incident happened this past June. The baby was seen walking alone in a parking lot while the mother hurried toward her car, leaving the child behind. The toddler was then hit by a nearby parked vehicle.
The mother screamed at the driver, who quickly drove off. The driver claimed they neither saw the baby nor felt the car jerk.
Video evidence tells a different story. The car visibly jerked twice, leaving tire marks on the baby’s back. Thankfully, the child only suffered bruises and no serious injuries.
Police questioned the driver, but the investigation was closed without prosecution due to lack of evidence.
Attorney Han Moon Cheol weighed in:
> “It is truly a stroke of luck that the child wasn’t seriously injured. Holding the child’s hand or carrying them when walking in a parking lot is best.
> Although the driver may not have seen the child, their claim that they didn’t feel a bump could be a lie. It would be a good idea to file an objection to the investigation and conduct a lie detector test.”
Netizens are divided on fault. Comments ranged from blaming the mother’s negligence to criticizing the driver’s carelessness.
– “How were they driving that they couldn’t see the child?”
– “Crazy b*tch…that little kid..better be thankful they survived.”
– “The mother is at fault, but the driver is crazy.”
– “It’s a miracle the child is alive. Both the mother and driver need to be punished.”
The story continues to gain traction online as people debate responsibility in this close call.
