Jo Yuri shuts down rumors claiming her Squid Game appearance fee was ₩4.2 billion
Former *IZONE member and actress Jo Yuri is setting the record straight on reports about her pay for Squid Game**.
The actress appeared in seasons 2 and 3 of Squid Game as Kim Jun Hee. On July 12, KST, she was a guest on MBC’s Point of Omniscient Interfere, where she addressed the impact the show had on her career.
She revealed her Instagram followers soared from 1.68 million to 7.61 million after the hit Netflix series. Yuri also noted her comment section switched from mostly Korean fans to many international messages.
When MC Yang Se Hyung brought up rumors about her huge appearance fee, Yuri pushed back hard. She cited a headline claiming her fee was ₩4.2 billion KRW (about $3.05 million USD).
