HYBE’s Supposed Contract Conditions With Min Hee Jin Revealed, Triggering Significant Controversy

HYBE’s Alleged Contract Terms With Min Hee Jin Exposed, Sparking Massive Outrage

Min Hee Jin is facing backlash over her controversial contract with HYBE. Recently revealed court details show why Min pushed for a renegotiation and fans are furious.

The contract reportedly binds Min to ADOR until November 2026, prohibiting her from any outside ventures while employed or owning shares in the company. Out of her 18% stake in ADOR, she can only sell 13% back to HYBE under a put option. The remaining 5% requires HYBE’s approval for any sale, practically locking her in unless she gets their OK.

“With this ‘5% ADOR stake’ acting as a shackle, HYBE could indefinitely extend Min’s non-compete restriction.”

Min expressed that the arrangement leaves her “tied to HYBE for life,” citing the 5% stake as a significant issue. Her attempt to renegotiate last year ended with a breakdown. Allegedly, HYBE offered to remove restrictions on that 5% but only if Min would extend her contract until 2032—when she’d be 53.

Min’s side brought recordings of conversations with HYBE’s executives to court. Testimonies suggested HYBE was aware the terms would spark controversy, with one witness accused of backtracking once the recordings were presented.

Korean netizens are split on the uproar. Many are outraged, while some point out Min did sign the contract herself.

  • “Hope that thug of a trash company gets completely exposed.”
  • “Unbelievable how a contract that ended in 2026 magically stretched to 2032…”
  • “But if it’s a contract with HYBE, wouldn’t experts have gone over it at the time?”
  • “She basically got scammed into a job.”

The situation is evolving, and fans are closely monitoring further developments in this ongoing controversy.
