Boy Group Member's Vulgar Comments About A Female Idol Spark Alarm

Allegations Surrounding Park Junhwan Prompt Fan Protests Ahead of IDID’s Debut

The controversy surrounding Park Junhwan, a member of the upcoming boy group IDID, has intensified, sparking significant outcry from fans concerned about serious allegations against him.

IDID, formed through Starship Entertainment’s survival show Debut Plan, is set to debut in the second half of 2025, featuring eight members eager to make their mark in the industry. However, Park Junhwan’s impending debut is marred by troubling accusations that have surfaced recently, including claims of sexual assault and misogyny levied by alleged former classmates.

Fans have not held back in expressing their discontent, even initiating a funeral wreath project sent directly to Starship Entertainment. Despite this, the management has yet to release a statement regarding the serious allegations against Junhwan, which continue to grow in number.

An anonymous account, suspected to belong to one of Junhwan’s former classmates, has shared disturbing messages from those claiming to have known him personally. One notably distressing message from an alleged ex-girlfriend detailed explicit remarks he made, including degrading comments about other female idols.

She stated, “While in a relationship with me, he said stuff like, ‘I want to fck [female idol name]’ and ‘I want to rpe her.’” This has raised alarms, particularly given the number of female artists under Starship’s umbrella, such as IVE and KiiiKiii. Fans are now demanding urgent responses from the agency to ensure the safety of these idols.

The reactions on social media have been swift and intense. Twitter is abuzz with fans voicing their outrage and concern over Junhwan’s presence in the industry, especially with many voicing worry that he could be in close proximity to young female idols. One user remarked, “What if he were to act on his words and do the things he says?? Starship needs to wake up. He is dangerous.”

The alarm is palpable, as fans are urging Starship Entertainment to reconsider Junhwan’s role in the group, using hashtags like #REMOVE_PARKJUNHWAN and #PARKJUNHWAN_OUT to amplify their message. As this situation develops, many in the K-pop community are left wondering how Starship will respond to these serious allegations and the overwhelming public backlash.

Park Junhwan’s future in IDID hangs in the balance as fans and fellow idols alike call for accountability and an immediate resolution to this troubling situation.
