BTS member Jin has made headlines after an exciting encounter with Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise on his YouTube series, Run Jin.
Cruise, who was in Korea to promote his film Mission Impossible: Final Recording, graced the show with his presence. The meeting sparked excitement as Jin posed the question, “Do you know BTS?”

Tom Cruise: Congratulations on your band, your career, and what you’ve created. It’s very impressive and I’m a big fan. I’m very happy to be here on your show.
Jin was taken aback by just how passionate Cruise is as a fan! He shared his surprise on Twitter, tweeting, “It’s amazing that Tom Cruise has seen everything I’ve done on the show!”

Tom Cruise: I’ve seen you do gymnastics.
Jin: Wow, he’s watched it all. This is crazy.
Tom Cruise: I know you can run up the buildings…and climbing.
Jin: I just want to use the radio… is that ok?
Tom Cruise: You can be the radio guy! Absolutely!
Cruise also shared his fondness for Korea, complimenting the country’s rich culture and delicious cuisine. He stated:
“I felt it the first time I came to Korea. It left an impression on me. Korean culture is amazing, the history is interesting, and the food is so delicious. Koreans really love movies, don’t they? They make a lot of great movies, and I’m happy we can share movies like this. And of course, the music. I truly respect what Jin created.”

Previously, Jin made a guest appearance on Red Velvet’s Wendy’s radio show, where he provided insight into how this collaboration with Cruise came to fruition. Interestingly, it was Tom Cruise’s team that initially reached out to Jin for the surprise appearance.
