Bullying Claims Surface as New K-Drama Gains Popularity

Bullying Allegations Emerge As New K-Drama's Popularity Rises

Accusations Cast Shadow Over Rising K-Drama "Tastefully Yours"

As the new K-Drama Tastefully Yours gains traction among audiences, serious allegations against one of its lead actresses, Go Min Si, threaten to overshadow the show’s growing success.

The series debuted on May 12 and is quickly becoming a fan favorite with its charming premise set in the culinary world. Starring Kang Ha Neul as Han Beom Woo, an heir to a food company who isn’t particularly passionate about food, and Go Min Si as Mo Yeon Joo, a devoted chef with a love for cooking, the drama has been capturing viewers’ attention since its premiere.

According to Nielsen Korea, Episode 4, which aired on May 20, achieved impressive ratings, hitting 3.1% nationwide and a metropolitan rating of 2.9%. As each episode has rolled out, the audience numbers continue to rise.

However, viewer excitement took a hit after the recent cameo of Yoo Yeon Seok, whose past misogyny controversy has drawn criticism. Now, allegations have surfaced against Go Min Si, claiming she was involved in bullying during her middle school years. These serious accusations came to light in a viral post on the online forum DC Inside, where an alleged former classmate accused her of violent behavior.

While Go Min Si’s agency, Mystic Story, has swiftly denied these allegations after consulting with the actress, the situation raises questions about the potential impact on Tastefully Yours. Despite the denial, it remains uncertain how these allegations might affect the series’ viewership and overall popularity in the coming weeks.

As the drama continues to engage fans, all eyes will be on how it navigates these controversies in the midst of its rising fame.
