In exciting news for fans, ASTRO member and actor Cha Eunwoo has officially been accepted into the Republic of Korea Army (ROKA) Military Band. He will begin his mandatory military service starting this July.
According to an exclusive report from OSEN published on May 29, 2025 (KST), Cha Eunwoo was among those who successfully passed the Military Band recruitment process, as confirmed by the Military Manpower Administration. His enlistment date is officially set for July 28, 2025.
A representative from Fantagio shared details about Cha Eunwoo’s recruitment, stating, “He applied for the Army Military Band at the end of March. He went through the proper procedures and completed the interview. We were informed that the results would be announced on the 29th. If accepted, although we didn’t yet know the exact date, we understood that enlistment would take place sometime in July.”
