J-Hope has wrapped up the Asia leg of his solo world tour with a bang! On May 31st and June 1st KST, he rocked two sold-out shows at Kyocera Dome Osaka, attracting over 80,000 fans across the two days. The concerts went global, being broadcast live in cinemas across 70 countries.
This final stop marked the end of his ‘J-Hope Tour ‘HOPE ON THE STAGE’ which kicked off in February. J-Hope hit 15 cities and put on a whopping 31 performances, drawing in about 470,000 attendees.
He opened both nights with tracks from his debut solo album, ‘Jack In The Box’, like “What if…” and “Pandora’s Box.”
“This is the final stop of my overseas tour. I’m honored to share this moment with you. Let’s make this night unforgettable,” he said.
His setlist didn’t just stop there. He included songs from ‘HOPE ON THE STREET VOL.1’ and even featured a medley of BTS hits. The crowd went wild for the Japanese versions of "MIC Drop," "Baepsae," and "Dis-ease."
Reflecting on the tour, J-Hope stated,
“This tour was a major challenge and a dream come true. It’s a beautiful memory I’ll never forget. I’ve truly felt the love of ARMY around the world. You are the real stars of this tour. I promise I’ll be back.”
This tour is J-Hope’s first solo world tour in 12 years since debuting.
Next up, he’s got an encore concert titled ‘J-Hope Tour ‘HOPE ON THE STAGE’ FINAL’ scheduled for June 13th and 14th at Goyang Stadium. Fans can look forward to the premiere of a new digital single, Killin It Girl (feat. GloRilla), during the encore show.
