KISS OF LIFE is facing fresh backlash over alleged plagiarism in their new concept teasers.
After dealing with a major cultural appropriation scandal that forced them to pull out of KCON LA 2025 and led to member Julie issuing an apology during a live broadcast, the girl group is now under fire again.
The controversy exploded after teaser images for their upcoming release 224 dropped online. Fans quickly noticed striking similarities between KISS OF LIFE’s black-and-white box set visuals and ITZY’s concept for KILL MY DOUBT.
Fans aren’t holding back. Many say the similarities "are too big to be brushed off or seen as a coincidence."
Some voices defend KISS OF LIFE, pointing out that K-pop teasers often share creative styles. But the majority leans toward criticism, especially given the group’s recent history of missteps.
Twitter reactions include:

Accusations also surfaced accusing KISS OF LIFE of copying BLACKPINK’s Jisoo in recent photos.
With multiple controversies stacking up, KISS OF LIFE’s upcoming comeback faces a tough road ahead—especially among international fans watching closely.
