ENHYPEN’s Ni-ki faces backlash over rumors spread by HYBE staff
Netizens are heated after revelations that HYBE staff may have been spreading negative rumors about ENHYPEN’s Ni-ki.
This isn’t the first time HYBE staff have caused controversy around ENHYPEN members. Earlier, Sunghoon had to publicly assure ILLIT’s Minju that he wasn’t mad after rumors circulated that he hated the ILLIT members for dressing up his plushie.
New backlash ignited following Ni-ki and Sunoo’s appearance on Minju’s Pink Cabinet on June 6.
During the episode, Minju revealed, “One of the directors said that if you drink that Ni-Ki would get angry.” Ni-ki was visibly shocked and asked, “Are they trying to make me seem like a scary senior at the company?”
Minju added she was even “scared” of the meeting because of these rumors.
Both ENHYPEN members appeared calmer once Minju said that meeting and talking with them changed the staff’s perceptions.
Netizens quickly condemned HYBE staff for allegedly trying to make ENHYPEN members look unapproachable and scary to juniors.

Fans worry this pattern of HYBE staff spreading strange and false rumors about ENHYPEN members is escalating.
