ENHYPEN’s Jungwon Sparks Debate After Woman’s Plastic Surgery Transformation
A woman’s recent surgery inspired by ENHYPEN’s Jungwon has gone viral, stirring mixed reactions online.
The Gangnam-based Braun Plastic Surgery Clinic shared a video showing the woman’s pre-surgery look alongside photos of Jungwon used as reference images. After multiple procedures, including a nose job and eyelid surgery, her features now bear a striking resemblance to the idol. Side-by-side comparisons were also included.
The clip exploded on X, with netizens divided.
Some insisted celebrity reference photos are standard practice in plastic surgery.
“She looks nothing like him tho… and surgeon always use celebrity as reference..” — Twitter user @Seongjoong2cute
“am i the only one who thinks there’s no problem in here? doesn’t people show references to their surgeon before getting the surgery ? and it turned out good too” — Twitter user @cupcakeheee
Others called the surgery “creepy” and accused the woman of trying to copy Jungwon’s face exactly.
“This is actually soo fcked up???” — Twitter user @suckmydikeu
“Plastic surgery is so dark to me like your face is your identity so when u do this your basically stealing someone else’s identity while loosing your own for forever, it’s so sickening” — Twitter user @Lovely7en
“ngl i think that’s wayyyy too close to HIS face to be ok..if I were him and found out abt this I’d be SPOOKED” — Twitter user @kkurisuns
The controversy is still gaining traction as fans and critics weigh in on the ethics of using idols as plastic surgery models.
