Hearts2Hearts is facing backlash after an SM Entertainment staff violently shoved a fan at Incheon Airport.
The incident happened as the rookie girl group headed to Hangzhou for an offline fan signing. A viral video shows an SM staff member aggressively pushing a female fan holding a camera away from the group while they entered a train carriage. The staff member wrapped his arm around her neck and shoved her twice.
The clip exploded online, drawing massive outrage from Korean netizens. A post on TheQoo received over 50,000 views and thousands of angry comments accusing the staff of assault. Many are calling for legal action against the bodyguard.
Some comments:
“If you’re a misogynistic man who wants to hit women, just get a job at SM. They make more of a scene than the president.”
“Is he insane?”
“They need to sue for that.”
Others stressed that even if the fan were a sasaeng, this level of violence is unacceptable.
“That’s assault. Do they think they own the airport or something? Even if she was a sasaeng, choking and shoving someone like that is unbelievable.”
“The idol industry is basically a lawless zone where a man can beat a woman in broad daylight at an airport without hesitation.”
“They seriously need to press charges for that… Is that the same bodyguard who knocked down that female fan before?”
The controversy is gaining traction amid widespread condemnation of SM’s handling. The company has not released an official response yet. Fans and onlookers continue monitoring the situation closely.
