SEVENTEEN Wins Big with ‘THUNDER’
SEVENTEEN is on fire! The K-pop group has bagged four music show trophies for their latest title track, ‘THUNDER’.
On June 7, they clinched first place on MBC’s ‘Show! Music Core’, racking up the highest score of the year on the show. This win follows earlier victories on ‘Show Champion’, ‘M Countdown’, and ‘Music Bank’, making it their fourth No. 1 trophy and showcasing their momentum.
In their acceptance speech, they expressed gratitude:
“We put so much effort into this album, and it feels amazing to be rewarded like this. We want to dedicate this award to CARAT, our fans. Thank you so much.”
‘THUNDER’ continues to impress with explosive choreography and solid live vocals, proving their top-tier status in K-pop as they celebrate their 11th year.
The track has topped various charts, including Melon’s ‘Top 100’ and Bugs’ daily chart. It recently hit No. 1 in the digital category on the Circle Chart and entered multiple Billboard charts, including Global 200 and UK Official Chart.
SEVENTEEN is set to perform ‘THUNDER’ again today on SBS’s ‘Inkigayo’.
