Kim Se Ui is facing backlash after police visited his office during a live broadcast for violating a court order.
The YouTube channel Garosero Research Institute kept airing content about Kim Soo Hyun, despite a provisional stalking injunction. This led police to show up at their Shinsa-dong office on June 13.
Police were called after netizens reported the channel for using Kim Soo Hyun’s name in a video thumbnail, claiming it broke the court order. Officers informed Kim Se Ui about the violations and left after a verbal warning.
During the live broadcast, Kim Se Ui reacted to the police visit:
"The police rang the doorbell and interrupted me while I was on a live broadcast. This is an apparent suppression of the press."

Seoul Central District Court had previously issued the provisional order against Kim Se Ui to stop stalking Kim Soo Hyun. Kim Se Ui appealed, but the court dismissed it.
The controversy continues as Kim Soo Hyun’s agency also filed additional complaints accusing Garosero of stalking and spreading false information. Police and fans are monitoring the situation closely.
