ENHYPEN and Hearts2Hearts appointed as cultural ambassadors for Seoul.
On June 17 (KST), the K-pop boy group ENHYPEN and rookie girl group Hearts2Hearts were named official cultural ambassadors for the city of Seoul.
"Seoul is where we began our musical journey and where we first met ENGENE [fandom name]. It’s a city full of charm in everyday life. We’ll work hard to ensure people around the world love Seoul as much as they love K-pop," said ENHYPEN.
Hearts2Hearts also shared their excitement.
"Seoul holds a special place in our hearts as the city where we began chasing our dreams. We’re honored to be chosen as ambassadors."
Both groups aim to promote Seoul’s global brand value and participate in cultural initiatives over the next two years.
Other ambassadors joining them include broadcaster Um Jiyoon, YouTuber Park Wi and his wife, singer-actress Song Jieun, actor Kim Seok Hoon, and pianist Sunwoo Yekwon.
ENHYPEN recently released their 6th mini-album DESIRE : UNLEASH on June 5. Meanwhile, Hearts2Hearts is set to release their new digital single STYLE on June 18.
