ALLDAY PROJECT is facing backlash over accusations of misogyny in their choreography for the single "FAMOUS."
TheTHEBLACKLABELco-ed group debuted amid controversy but now controversy has escalated over one dance sequence in the chorus. The three female members—Annie Moon, Youngseo, and Bailey—bend their knees and get low to the ground. Meanwhile, the two male members—Woochan and Tarzzan—stay standing and only move their shoulders.
Korean netizens slammed the move, calling it “humiliating" and sexist.

"Stop making women do humiliating dances, for f*’s sake, in this piece-of-sh** misogynistic world."
Other critics pointed out the clear double standard between male and female choreography.

"The guys stand tall with wide shoulders from a low angle, as if they’re looking down. But the girls crouch low and stick out their butts. Just imagine if the guys danced like the girls — the answer’s obvious, right?"
Fans also highlighted the trend of girls getting “girly” choreography even in co-ed groups.

"Even in co-ed groups, it’s always the girls stuck with girly choreo. Such BS. If the guys did the girly choreo too, would anyone complain?"
Some defended the choreography, claiming it “centers” women rather than humiliates them.

"This isn’t discrimination against women. They’re literally putting women front and center like the main act."
So far, ALLDAY PROJECT andTHEBLACKLABELhaven’t responded to the misogyny accusations.
