BigHit Music Makes Official Statement Regarding BTS Suga's Upcoming Military Discharge

BTS’s Suga will be discharged from mandatory military service on June 21, 2025. He is the last BTS member to complete his duty.

Suga served as a public service worker, an alternative form of military service in South Korea. The other BTS members have already returned: Jin and j-hope finished earlier, RM and V were discharged on June 10, and Jimin and Jungkook followed on June 11.

BigHit Music warned fans not to gather at the discharge site due to safety concerns. They also confirmed there will be no official event on the day.

We would like to inform you about BTS Suga’s discharge from military service.
Suga is nearing the completion of his service as a public service worker and will soon be discharged.
There will be no official event on the day of his discharge. To prevent safety incidents due to overcrowding, we sincerely ask fans to refrain from visiting the site. Please send your warm welcome and encouragement to Suga with your hearts.
