SUGA has wrapped up his public service duties!

As of June 18, the BTS member utilized his remaining annual leave, effectively signaling the end of his military service. Officially, he’s still set to be discharged on June 21, but he’s no longer required to report for duty. This process was standard and approved.

SUGA began his alternative military service on September 22, 2023. During his term, he also underwent basic military training. Fans are buzzing with anticipation for the group’s full reunion as all seven members are now at the end of their service.

Just last week, on June 13, SUGA was seen supporting j-hope at his solo concert, sporting a beanie and mask. His appearance fueled excitement for BTS’s imminent comeback.

Since Jin, the oldest member, enlisted in December 2022, BTS had been on a military hiatus. Jin wrapped up his service in June 2024, followed by j-hope in October 2024. RM and V finished on June 10, while Jimin and Jungkook completed theirs on June 11.

BTS recently celebrated their 12th anniversary with the ‘2025 BTS FESTA’ on June 13 and 14 in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province.

Fans can’t wait for the full return of BTS!

“We’re so excited for all of them to be back together!” – a fan tweet confirming the buzz on social media.
