K-Pop Demon Hunters is dropping on Netflix June 20, 2025. The animated film is stirring excitement as it combines K-pop vibes with Korean mythology. Directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans, the film features three pop idols—Rumi, Mira, and Zoey—who secretly battle demons while juggling fame.
Arden Cho, voicing Rumi, shared her enthusiasm:

May Hong portrays Mira, the group’s tough cookie. She noted:

Ji-young Yoo voices the quirky Zoey and expressed her excitement to return to comedy:

Music is a key element. The soundtrack features original songs from TWICE, Audrey Nuna, and even Lea Salonga. Cho highlighted a standout track:
“I love ‘Soda Pop’… And ‘Golden’ is such a powerful song."
Directors Kang and Appelhans took inspiration from BTS’s virtual concerts for the film’s emotional core. Cho remarked:
