BTS’s Suga Speaks to Fans Following DUI, Apology, and Discharge

BTS's Suga Addresses Fans For The First Time Since DUI, Apology, And Discharge

Suga is back from military service and addressing fans for the first time since his DUI scandal.

The BTS rapper officially completed his public service enlistment in June 2025. He posted on Weverse, saying he missed ARMY and reflected deeply during his two years away.

Suga apologized again for “causing disappointment and concern” due to last year’s DUI incident. He also expressed regret to BTS members for the burden his actions caused.

He promised to “do my best to repay the love you’ve given me” and to update fans more often going forward.

“Hello everyone, it’s been a while. This is Suga. It’s been two years. How has everyone been? Today, I was officially discharged from the military, so I’m greeting you for the first time in a while. It’s a day I’ve been waiting for. But because it’s been so long, I thought a lot about how I should say hello again.”

With Suga’s discharge, all BTS members have now completed their military duties. Jin and J-Hope returned earlier and have been active, while RM, V, Jimin, and Jungkook have also celebrated their service endings with fans.

BTS teased a full-group comeback slated for March 2026. Fans are watching closely for what’s next after Suga’s military exit and past controversy.
