SUGA is back, and he’s addressing his fans after his official discharge from mandatory military service.

On June 21 KST, SUGA shared a heartfelt message on Weverse. He expressed gratitude to fans for their support during his 2-year hiatus.

"Hello everyone, it’s SUGA. It’s been about 2 years. How have you been?"

He reflected on his time away, stating he used it to look back on himself and his career.

"I think I spent these past 2 years reflecting about myself as a person."

SUGA also apologized for previous controversies, including a DUI incident that occurred in August 2023, where he was fined 15 million KRW (~ $11,000 USD).

"More than anything, what upset me most was that I hurt my fans."

He promised to work hard to repay their love moving forward.

"From now on, I will do my best to repay you for the love that you’ve given me."

Fans are eagerly awaiting SUGA’s return to the music scene.
