Suho is stirring up buzz after revealing his academic background during the premiere of Problematic Men reboot: math edition on June 23.
The show, airing on tvN, aims to boost math confidence through engaging challenges. Host Jun Hyun Moo set the tone with a playful intro, saying, “Of all the former ‘Problematic Men,’ I’m the only one left. Since I’m not great at math, I’ll introduce you to new faces who are.”
When Jun highlighted Suho’s academic pedigree, the EXO member downplayed it.
“I went to an arts high school, so I basically didn’t take the math section on the college entrance exam,” Suho joked.
Jun fired back, “Did you not hear what kind of show this is?”
Suho laughed, admitting he was a bit concerned.
Despite the self-deprecation, Suho later shared impressive family ties:
“My father is a professor of economics, my mother was a math teacher, and my older brother went to graduate school at KAIST.”
Cast member John Park was quick to comment:
“You’ve definitely got it in your blood. That’s a brainiac family.”
The reboot promises fresh math challenges and a fun new format.
