BoA and Lee Soo Man clashed over her appearance on JTBC’s Knowing Bros.
BoA revealed she almost turned down the invite after a past fallout with SM Entertainment founder Lee Soo Man.
He told her,
“You were really boring the last time you went on. If you’re going on a show like that, you should at least prepare an impression or a dance.”
The two argued until 4 a.m. over the comment.
Super Junior’s Kim Heechul weighed in, calling their dynamic father-daughter:
“When BoA got annoyed and said, ‘I’m not going on the show!’ Lee Soo-man responded, ‘Why are you sulking again?’ And then BoA shot back, ‘I said I’m not going!’ They kept going at it.”
Producer Yoo Young Jin was caught in the crossfire, silently sipping his drink.
BoA remains one of SM’s most respected artists and currently serves as a director at the company.
