Yoo Jae Suk opened up about his cooled friendship with Song Joong Ki on the June 28 episode of his YouTube show Pinggyego.
During the episode, guest Lee Hyori brought up Song Joong Ki, mentioning her past collaborations with him and that he recently appeared on a radio program hosted by her husband, Lee Sang Soon.
Yoo Jae Suk joked about wanting to have Song Joong Ki on Pinggyego but admitted their communication has lessened. He said he feels “awkward” reaching out to Song now because of the actor’s changed life situation.
We used to contact each other from time to time, but after his marriage and everything, it feels a bit awkward to contact him.

Yoo explained that since Song Joong Ki got married and started raising two children, his life became very different.
Song Joong Ki confirmed his relationship with Katy Louise Saunders at the end of 2022 and married her just a month later. They welcomed their first child in June 2023 and their second in November 2024.
