Lisa of BLACKPINK is facing controversy after posting a concerning video on social media.
On June 30 KST, she shared photos from her trip to Japan alongside a short clip that has fans worried. The video shows her ear, along with visible blood and discharge. Fans are alarmed and flooded her posts with questions and comments about her health.
"What happened all of a sudden?"
"Her ear is bleeding."
"Hope she takes care of her health."
"Is it from a piercing?"
"If there’s discharge, it might be an old wound—please let us know what’s going on."
This health scare comes amid rising tensions between her fans and YG Entertainment. Just days before, fans accused the agency of racial discrimination against Lisa.
On June 26, YG released the official trailer for BLACKPINK’s upcoming world tour titled “DEADLINE”. Fans were outraged, claiming Lisa received less screen time than the other members in the trailer.
"This is racial discrimination. Lisa deserves respect and an official apology from YG. This isn’t the first time she’s been treated this way—don’t take our anger lightly."
The post went viral on X (formerly Twitter), with thousands of retweets.
YG Entertainment has not responded to the backlash yet.
