CRAVITY member Jungmo revealed he was bullied in school because of his name.
On the recent episode of Neighborhood Star K hosted by Jonathan, Jungmo shared his painful school nicknames: “Gu Deogi,” “Ha Soo Gu,” and “Gu Jung Mool.” All carry negative meanings in Korean—dregs, sewer, and dirty water respectively.
Jungmo said these hurtful names stuck with him, and he often ended up playing board games alone in the emotional counseling room during breaks.
His bandmate Minhee confirmed the group has multiple victims of bullying.
“Because my name is Gu Jungmo, my nicknames were Gu Deo Gi, Ha Soo Gu, and Gu Jung Mool.” — Jungmo
“We have a lot of victims.” — Minhee
Fans quickly called out the disturbing nature of the bullying.
Jungmo’s nickname as a student were dregs, sewer, and dirty water. He played board games alone in the emotional counseling room. These are totally not incidents to take light of.

Other members have also hinted at their own bullying experiences. One fan referenced Hyeongjun saying he ate alone by the stairs in elementary or middle school because older kids mocked him.
didnt hyeongjun say he used to eat alone by the stairs or something because some older kids made fun of him.. i think it was during his elementary school days or middle

The story is gaining traction as fans react to CRAVITY being victims rather than perpetrators of bullying—flipping the usual narrative about idols and school violence.
