BTS’s Jungkook stirs buzz with Netflix feature!
On July 14, fans were stunned when BTS’s Jungkook appeared on the banner of Netflix’s official X (formerly known as Twitter) account. This came hot on the heels of Jungkook’s livestream on Weverse, where he entertained fans by singing 40 tracks, including songs from the animated film K-Pop Demon Hunters.
He covered hits like “How It’s Done,” “Takedown,” “Golden,” and “Free.”
During the livestream, Jungkook watched K-Pop Demon Hunters and was visibly moved by the story. When the character Jinu sacrificed himself for Rumi, Jungkook couldn’t hold back tears. He emotionally reacted, saying, “Ahg, dummy. Aishi. You should live diligently together if she gives you back your soul. What are you doing?”
Netflix captured the moment and briefly updated its banner with Jungkook wiping his tears and the caption, “Jungkook watched K-Pop Demon Hunters.” Though the photo was taken down, the caption remains.
Korean netizens found the whole thing hilarious. Here’s what they had to say:
“Lol.”
“This is so funny.”

“Now, everyone knows he cried. lol.”
“Even Netflix found out he cried. lol.”
