Two Korean Women Spark Outrage After Assaulting Vietnamese Women in Photo Booth
Two Korean women working for Segyung Vina violently assaulted two Vietnamese women inside a photo booth in Vietnam. The incident happened on the evening of July 11, 2025, and quickly went viral online.
After the Korean women’s personal information was leaked, they claimed to have reached an agreement and offered to pay hospital costs. The victims denied this, stating they hadn’t received any compensation.
Segyung Vina, the Korean women’s employer, issued an official apology, confirming one of their head office employees was responsible.
Jeon Sung Wook, CEO of Segyung Vina:
"We fully understand that the unethical behavior of the employee is absolutely unacceptable and goes against the company’s management principles… After finding out about the situation, Segyung Vina held an emergency meeting and is working to resolve the issue by contacting the victims, those involved, and the police… The head office employee who committed the assault has been dismissed."
The company outlined follow-up measures:
- The employee has been dismissed.
- Sincere apologies and compensation for the victim are promised.
- New code of conduct and training for employees will be established.
- Full cooperation with Vietnamese authorities to investigate and prevent recurrence.
Netizens expressed shock and outrage:
- “I hope they receive strong punishment.”
- “Is there any way they can be punished through Vietnamese laws?”
- “It’s shocking that they acted like that during a business trip.”
- “Those women will probably be denied entry into Vietnam… why would they screw up their future…”
