KATSEYE Ignites Major Controversy After Girl Group Faces “Icing Out” Allegations Against Manon

KATSEYE Spark Massive Controversy — Girl Group Accused Of "Icing Out" Manon

KATSEYE is facing controversy as fans call out the group’s repeated sidelining of member Manon.

The drama erupted as a viral tweet highlighted Manon’s absence from multiple recent promotions. Fans quickly compiled a list showing Manon was either missing or visibly pushed aside.

The biggest example: KATSEYE’s recent billboard for their Glossier collab. While the other members posed front and center, Manon was nowhere to be seen. Even on the billboard itself, her face was covered by another member.

Her individual photo was also missing from KATSEYE’s latest group interview with Hypebae, stoking further concern.

Fans pointed out Manon’s limited screen time in the group’s promotional video for the Monster High collaboration. She had almost no individual focus or commentary.

Fans suspect HYBE and Geffen Records are deliberately sidelining Manon, the only Black member of the group. The pattern is too clear to be a coincidence now.

Comparisons are being made to past mistreatments of Black girl group stars like Leigh-Anne Pinnock from Little Mix and Normani from Fifth Harmony.

“And I’ll be unstanning if manon leaves”

“manon is literally the backbone of the group idk what geffen is thinking bc if she leaves i leave”
— @hyeinssss

“maybe this is parasocial, idc rn, but to me as a black girl seeing a doll that resembles you even down to the BRAIDS had to have been a huge moment for manon. why would you rob the fans of seeing her joy and excitement to this. don’t dim black joy ever !! hell is hot and ready”
— @manon_nom

HYBE, Geffen Records, and KATSEYE’s official accounts have yet to respond to the growing backlash. Fans remain on high alert as tension mounts online.
