KOYOTE’s Shinji Shares Update on Marriage Plans During Group Discussion

KOYOTE's Shinji Sits Down With Members, Says She Isn't Getting Married In A While

KOYOTE‘s Shinji is facing fierce backlash after her wedding announcement with singer MoonOne triggered a flood of fan concerns. The situation blew up as fans expressed doubts following the male members’ unfiltered reactions to meeting MoonOne, sparking calls to call off the wedding.

Shinji responded directly on her YouTube channel, revealing she read every comment and felt the weight of the criticism. Her groupmate Bbaekga chimed in:

“Every single one came from a place of concern and care for you.”

Shinji admitted the outpouring of worry made her reflect deeply:

“Because there’s been so much concerned comments, I couldn’t help but read through it all—just to see what people were saying. But you two said you got scared and stopped reading, right? I read through all of it, and honestly, it really weighed on me. I felt bad—like I might’ve caused harm to you two, too. There was a lot for me to think about, in many different ways. Really.”

She also mentioned the timing clash with her group’s new album release:

“And even with the new album coming, we had a release date locked in after all our prep, but I felt like there was so much focus on me personally… all these fans have been quietly out there, and now they’re coming out to show concern and support for me. That really hit me.”

Shinji wants to clear the air on the wedding timeline, stressing it’s not happening anytime soon:

“A lot of people seem to think I’m getting married right now, like this year, but that’s not true. It’s still a long way off, so I’d appreciate it if you could just watch over things patiently.”

The backlash reached a point where Shinji had to take medication to control panic attacks before performances.

Bbaekga is backing Shinji through this tough time:

“I’m sure it is all a learning experience.”

Meanwhile, Kim Jongmin advised:

“You should really take this as time to think about where you’re headed and how you want to move forward.”

Shinji and MoonOne originally planned a wedding in the first half of next year, but with everything unfolding, the date remains uncertain.

Fans and insiders are closely monitoring the situation as Shinji navigates the storm around her personal life and career.
