TWICE’s Jeongyeon is set for her acting debut in an upcoming movie.
According to an exclusive report from YTN, Jeongyeon was recently cast in New Recruit: The Movie. She’ll play a nursing officer, marking her first acting role in 10 years in entertainment.
New Recruit: The Movie is a spin-off from the K-Drama New Recruit series, which has aired three seasons. The movie shifts the setting from a military unit to a military hospital.
The production team is finalizing the script and adjusting the filming schedule for later this year.
JYP Entertainment has yet to comment on the report.
