Lee Mijoo hits back at “evil editing” accusations after her “ditzy” image on Hangout With Yoo.
The Lovelyz member said the show twisted her “cutesy/silly vibe” into making her look genuinely dumb. In a new YouTube video titled Lee Mijoo Applies For Devil’s Plan 3, she explained the truth behind her TV persona.
Staff: So you’re saying the ‘ditzy’ character was all just a concept?
Lee Mijoo: Right. I wanted to have that kind of a cutesy, silly vibe. But it ended up like I was really dumb. I’m not actually stupid.
Staff: Do you feel wronged about being portrayed as the ditz?
Lee Mijoo: Listen… A lot of things were edited out. There were times when, even though I got the answers right, the production team would go, ‘No, no. We can’t air that.’ That happened more than I could count.
Lee Mijoo insists she’s smarter than the show made her look and teased more episodes where she competes with celeb friends on brainpower.
