IVE is facing backlash over Jang Wonyoung’s outfit at the Coupang Play Series Halftime Show.
The issue started when Wonyoung wore a short blue dress with shorts underneath to the event — where she had to kick a football. Fans slammed the stylist for dressing her in an uncomfortable and “inappropriate” outfit for a sports-related performance.
The controversy snowballed as Wonyoung’s Chinese fanbase sent a letter to Starship over the outfit concerns.
An online community post about the incident gained over 87,000 views, highlighting harsh comments aimed at the stylist.
