Lovelyz’ Mijoo raised eyebrows over her pricey motivation to get a driver’s license.
On August 1, KST, Mijoo dropped a YouTube video revealing the luxury car that pushed her to finally get behind the wheel: a black Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG, aka the G-Wagon.
This wasn’t just any car. The model runs about ₩200 million KRW (roughly $144,000 USD).
Mijoo explained she booked the car before getting her license, turning it into personal motivation.

“Getting a driver’s license felt like so much of a hassle. So I figured if I booked a car first, I’d feel more motivated to actually get it— so I reserved the car first and then got my license.”
She admitted she wasn’t a car expert and chose the G-Wagon mainly because it “looked nice.”
Despite the splashy purchase, Mijoo’s driven just around 15,135 km in three years. She cited her limited chance to drive herself around due to her drinking habits.
The YouTube video shows Mijoo’s first big buy post-license—turning heads for its sheer price as motivation.
