Park Si Hoo faces new controversy over pimping allegations
Actor Park Si Hoo is under fire after a woman, identified as Ms. A, accused him of breaking up her family by pimping women to her husband. The accusations surfaced on August 5, KST, through social media posts by Ms. A.
Ms. A claims Park introduced women to her husband while they lived in the UN village. She says the relationship-building and solicitations started as early as 2020.
Screenshots were shared showing alleged text messages between Park’s account and Ms. A’s husband. One conversation from May 2021 reportedly shows Park sending a woman’s bank account information to the husband, who replied with photos of the woman from her social media.
Ms. A tagged Park’s account directly and stated he was the link between these women and her husband. She also hinted at releasing more evidence soon, claiming she is not afraid of lawsuits because she has “nothing left to lose.”
She posted a video showing recent KakaoTalk chats supposedly between her husband and Park.
The controversy is gaining traction given Park Si Hoo’s troubled past. In 2013, he was accused of raping a female trainee at his agency’s office after a night out drinking. Park denied all claims and filed countersuits against the trainee, her friend, and the agency CEO for false accusation and attempted blackmail.
The legal battle deepened with the agency CEO filing his own countersuit. Park was indicted on charges of quasi-rape and injury by rape, but the case was dropped after the victim withdrew her complaint.
Despite the dropped case, Park’s public image never fully recovered. Now, these fresh claims threaten to damage his career further.
So far, Park has made no public response to the allegations. He remains active on TikTok.
Recently, Park appeared on TV Chosun’s variety show Dad and Me and announced his upcoming role in the K-Drama The Mentalist.
