BTS J-Hope is getting roasted online for his “uncle vibes” comment to IVE members during their Lollapalooza meetup.
J-Hope showed up to support IVE’s set, dancing and singing along in the crowd. After the show, the groups met backstage in Berlin. IVE shared behind-the-scenes footage where J-Hope greeted them with, “Is this KPop Demon Hunters?” — a nod to the Netflix show loosely connected to IVE’s track “I AM” and its similarities to “Golden” from the movie.
J-Hope also talked about seeing IVE’s Leeseo as an MC before and compared early morning recordings to the festival vibe. He revealed he frequently listened to IVE during his military service. The girls said they’ve seen J-Hope mention them on variety shows.
IVE and J-Hope jammed to his song “Killin’ It Girl,” dancing and singing together before taking a group photo.
