BigHit Music’s New Boy Group Song Faces Backlash From Korean Netizens

BigHit Music New Boy Group's Song Receives Backlash From Korean Netizens

BigHit Music’s new boy group CORTIS is already facing backlash just days after their pre-debut release. Their track “GO!” dropped on August 11, 2025, featuring synth sounds and an R&B vibe, but fans aren’t impressed.

The group includes familiar faces like Trainee A’s James, and the music video was filmed overseas with an artistic direction. Still, netizens slammed the release for awkward angles and a confusing visual style.

Fans slammed the concept hard:

“Not fun…It really just seems as if it’s made for the foreign market, so I don’t like it.”

“Just common hip-hop wannabe vibes.”

“Ah, the angles…”

“It’s really not giving.”

“It’s our first impression of them, and they’re not showing their faces clearly, but using all sorts of weird angles that just makes it seem messy… The title track should be better than this, right?”

The disappointing response has many questioning the group’s debut strategy despite the anticipation built around CORTIS.
