MLD Entertainment’s survival show group faces uncertainty after minimal updates
The survival show group formed by MLD Entertainment and Artsro Entertainment, Be The Next: 9 Dreamers, is hitting a major roadblock. The nine-member lineup revealed after the finale — Yunho (THE KINGDOM’s Arthur), Yohan, Ivan (THE KINGDOM), Tehll, Zor, SmileOne, Francis, Gelo, and Dylan — has seen practically no debut progress or official activity since.
Several members are signaling the group’s likely disbandment or indefinite delay. Zor took to X (formerly Twitter) stating it’s been a “really slow and confusing 2 months,” but expressed relief that they never “signed anything.”
even tho its been a really slow and confusing 2 months, i thank the universe that we never signed anything

Yohan, the second-highest ranked contestant, also hinted at a solo future.
So here I am, standing at a new beginning.
I’m stepping forward as a solo artist, not alone, but with your voices echoing in my heart.
This is Yohan signing in, not to start over, but to start something new.

Meanwhile, Yunho (Arthur) and Ivan were confirmed by GF Entertainment to resume activities with THE KINGDOM, starting June 21. This move further suggests the survival show group’s debut plans are stalled or scrapped.
After recently appearing on an overseas program, Arthur and Ivan will resume official activities with THE KINGDOM starting the 21st.
Details regarding Arthur and Ivan’s Weverse DM will be announced next week.

The group’s inactivity also comes amid other MLD Entertainment controversies, including issues with another group. Fans are left wondering if the project was doomed from the start. For now, all signs point to the survival show group not debuting as planned.
