HORI7ON’s Kyler hits controversy over leaked video calling groupmates rude names
HORI7ON member Kyler landed in hot water in early August after a video went viral showing him allegedly bad-mouthing multiple groupmates.
The clip, shared on X, features Kyler speaking with someone else and using rude names for fellow HORI7ON members. Fans quickly demanded answers and called for his removal.
MLD Entertainment responded with an official statement confirming Kyler and the group held discussions and resolved their issues.
“First and foremost, we sincerely extend our apologies to the fans, the members, and anyone who felt distress due to the past actions of the company’s artist, Kyler Chua, in the video that has been shared online. The members of HORI7ON, including Kyler, have engaged in discussions that led to a mutual understanding and resolution, which has enhanced their unity as a group.”

MLD also announced legal measures against the spread of rumors, defamation, and unlawful distribution of materials.
“We have secured legal representation, met with the National Bureau of Investigation, and lodged a legal complaint against those responsible for circulating these harmful videos and disseminating other malicious rumors. We will persist in taking decisive measures against those who continue to create false rumors or share and promote these claims on social networks and online platforms.”
The controversy grew when a netizen revealed the video originally appeared on Kyler’s own public Facebook account—challenging MLD’s claim that the video was unlawfully obtained.
“false rumors? unlawfully obtained? FYI that was posted in Kyler’s FB account PUBLICLY na prinivate after kumalat sa FB. inuna niyo pa ‘legal actions’ before magtake ng accountability si Kyler and magproof check kung saan galing ang source cos nothing was illegally obtained ”

Fan backlash has persisted, with many accusing MLD of protecting Kyler without proper accountability.
“imagine messing up multiple times and still not having to publicly take responsibility because management will just run defense for you. must be nice.”

“girl……… wrap that artist up coz he’s so problematic omfg”

“I believe your artist/member needs to be held accountable. We need an official statement or apology from him, because we love HORI7ON so much and this is not the first time he has caused damage to the group.”

MLD remains firm on pursuing legal action and monitoring the situation, promising strong measures against further misconduct targeting their artists. Fans await Kyler’s personal response as the situation continues to develop.
