IU reveals Park Bo Gum picked her entire summer wardrobe
Idol-actress IU just confirmed her co-star Park Bo Gum was behind her summer fashion choices on When Life Gives You Tangerines.
In a recent vlog on her YouTube channel, IU showed up at Park Bo Gum’s fan meeting. He surprised her with gifts including a cake, a hat, and their fandom lightsticks. IU praised his thoughtful handwritten card.
IU also shared that Park Bo Gum once gifted her a light blue checkered shirt that became her go-to summer staple.
“I wore it all summer long,” IU said, adding her staff noticed the constant wear.
“I’ve been preparing to move for two years. I’m almost ready now. I moved all my stuff into my new house. I only have two outfits at home! The plaid shirt Bo Gum got me and another plaid shirt. So I wore it when I went to record ‘Cantabile’, and I think I wore that to the Blue Dragon Series Awards as well.”

She explained she kept the shirt because she liked it. IU hasn’t opened his new gifts yet but trusts the hat will become part of her daily look immediately.
