Kim Taehyung, aka V of BTS, just made headlines with his heartwarming discharge from military service on June 10. After 18 months, he reunited with fellow BTS member RM in Chuncheon, and fans couldn’t contain their excitement.
But the real buzz? Fans created a “V Road,” a path adorned with purple ribbons and 130 banners, celebrating Taehyung’s return. The display was set up near his military base in Gangwon-do. Fans embraced the motto “Borahae or I Purple You,” symbolizing their love and support for Taehyung.
Messages of love flooded the area, including:
"After 548 days, we finally meet again."
"You worked hard, Taehyung. Congratulations on your discharge."
To top it off, balloons carrying a big poster of Taehyung and his late dog Yeontan floated above his military base.
“This project was a global effort between fanbases. 130 banners were displayed everywhere,” said a representative from the organizing teams.
