Nana is sharing her tattoo removal journey—and it all started with her mom’s request.
On July 8, the singer and actress appeared on the Salon Drip 2 YouTube channel hosted by comedian Jang Do Yeon.
She revealed that her tattoo removals are nearly complete.
“They are almost all gone now. In regards to the pain, it’s bearable. I have a high pain tolerance. I did it five times without applying anesthetic cream.”

Nana explained why she skipped the anesthetic cream.
“It’s annoying. You must apply it and leave it on for about 3-4 hours so it doesn’t hurt. How can you use it and wait for 3-4 hours? That’s such a waste of time.”

She named the most painful areas to remove tattoos from as “the parts that are close to the chest line, back, ribs, and the top of the foot.”
Interestingly, she kept one tattoo on her shin.
“This is the year my mom was born. I wanted to keep this.”

When asked who suggested the removals, Nana gave credit to her mom.
“After a long time, she cautiously asked me, ‘How about removing them?’ I said, ‘Sure, I can.’”

Nana also opened up about her close and unique bond with her mother.
“I don’t think there are many people like my mom. She has a very open mind. She drinks with her friends, and they all feel comfortable with her.
My mother and I go clubbing together. We went to a club on December 31, and we danced and played with my friends and said ‘Happy New Year’. She’s really cool, and I want to be like her.”

Fans may remember Nana stunned the internet with her tattoos in 2022 during a press conference.
Her tattoo removal signals a big change—one driven by family and personal choice.
