aespa is under fire for Giselle’s hairstyle in her latest teaser for their mini-album Rich Man. The photos dropped August 27 at midnight KST, showing Giselle with a black-and-white fur coat over a cropped tank top and shorts, holding a bass guitar. But fans quickly zeroed in on her hair.
Many online criticized the look, with a popular Reddit post calling it “sht wannabe locs” and comparing it to “matted dry noodles*.”

The backlash grew, with some saying Giselle’s teaser can’t match the impact of her groupmates Karina and Winter. Some fans accused SM Entertainment of “actively trying to sabotage her” with the styling.
