Another Idol Accuses Major Planet Subsidiary of Unilaterally Removing Him From Company

Yet Another Idol Calls Out A Big Planet Made Subsidiary For Unilaterally Kicking Him Out Of Company

Yong Junhyung is in a contract dispute with his agency, BLACK MADE.

On June 21, 2025, the singer blasted the label on his personal channel, accusing them of sudden contract termination and demanding billions of won from him.

Yong Junhyung said the controversy started last year on his album release day.

“On the day my album was released last year, they suddenly called me in and said they needed to dissolve the label due to expanding business ventures. They claimed they would terminate the contract without any conditions. I said I was confused and couldn’t understand, and then they suddenly changed their stance and said, ‘Let’s work things out.’” – Yong Junhyung

The conflict escalated when BLACK MADE allegedly forced him out unilaterally and demanded repayment for undisclosed distributor investments.

“Then, just a month or two later, they unilaterally told me to leave the company. On top of that, they demanded I pay back money that had been invested by a distributor I never agreed to, and cover losses they calculated on their own. They cited various clauses from the contract, but I’ve never breached any terms. Now they’re asking me to pay billions of won based on their own calculations and just leave. I can’t accept this. I asked them to fulfill the management duties outlined in the contract until the end, but they’ve gone radio silent multiple times. So who’s really violating the contract here?” – Yong Junhyung

BLACK MADE was founded by Yong Junhyung in October 2022 as an independent label. It operates under Big Planet Made Entertainment, co-founded by Chairman Cha Ga Won and rapper MC Mong.

This comes amid similar clashes at Big Planet Made. Subsidiary ONE HUNDRED i is also embroiled in controversy with THE BOYZ’s Ju Haknyeon over his contract termination after personal controversies. Ju Haknyeon claims the label also tried to kick him out unilaterally.

Yong Junhyung is a former member of boy group Highlight (formerly BEAST). He’s known for songwriting and producing, but his career took a hit in 2019 when he left the group after admitting to watching illicit videos during the Burning Sun scandal.

BLACK MADE has yet to respond publicly to Yong Junhyung’s allegations. The situation is ongoing.
