BTS is back in the spotlight with news of their military discharges. Big Hit Music announced details for RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook’s upcoming returns to civilian life.
On June 7 KST, the agency issued a statement:
"Hello. This is Big Hit Music. We are excited to bring you the news of RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook’s upcoming military discharge."
RM and V commenced their service on December 11, 2023. They’re set to complete their duties on June 10 KST. Jimin and Jungkook, who started a day later on December 12, will be discharged on June 11 KST.
Big Hit cautioned fans:
"The discharge day is reserved for military personnel only. No special events are planned. We place the safety of our artists and fans as our top priority, and sincerely request our fans not to visit the sites in person."
The agency is encouraging fans to show their support from afar.
What’s next for the boys? Fans are waiting eagerly for updates on their return to music and activities post-service.
