BLACKPINK is making waves with a new collaboration that blends K-pop and American sports culture.
On July 13 (KST), YG Entertainment announced BLACKPINK IN YOUR AREA – a special merchandise collection created with Complex, Fanatics, and local sports franchises.
The collection ties into their ‘DEADLINE’ world tour, featuring exclusive designs like jerseys, T-shirts, hoodies, and caps, each infused with BLACKPINK’s unique flair.
Sales started online on July 8, quickly gaining traction. Fans can look forward to pop-up stores in Los Angeles and New York, opening on July 11 and July 25, respectively.
Top franchises involved include the Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Lakers, Chicago Bulls, New York Knicks, and others.
BLACKPINK recently kicked off their ‘DEADLINE’ tour with two sold-out shows at Goyang Stadium in South Korea on July 5 and 6. The tour covers 31 shows in 16 cities worldwide.
