BLACKPINK just dropped their new single "JUMP" during the opening night of their world tour, “DEADLINE,” at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium on July 5.
This performance marks the first full-group comeback in 2 years and 8 months. The highly anticipated track was debuted exclusively onstage, setting the scene for a potentially record-breaking tour.
The “DEADLINE” world tour spans 31 performances across 16 cities worldwide. Major stops include Los Angeles, Toronto, and Tokyo. This is also BLACKPINK’s first global tour since their last in 2023.
“The scale of this concert has significantly expanded,” said YG Entertainment.
Ticket scalping took center stage when BLACKPINK tickets were resold for up to NT$400,000 (around $13,400) in Taiwan—45 times the original price. To address this, the tour has launched an Anti-Scalping Campaign in partnership with the Korea Popular Music Performance Industry Association. This initiative includes a quiz event for fans, with limited-edition stickers as prizes.
BLACKPINK is not just commanding the music scene; they’re also advocating for fans with initiatives that spotlight ticket scalping issues.
