BLACKPINK is under attack from hackers targeting multiple major music platforms, disrupting their comeback with “JUMP.”
The hacking first showed on their Spotify profile, where their official photo was swapped with a controversial image of KISS OF LIFE from a past incident involving alleged racist behavior. The profile caption also dragged up BLACKPINK’s old controversies about some members using the “n-word” in pre-debut song covers.
The album preview for their 2022 hit “Shut Down” was replaced with an inappropriate animated clip. Now, “JUMP” was hit when it sat at No. 1 on Spotify Korea: official credits changed to unknown names Blocky and Neriim. The song lost its spot on top playlists, dropping over one million streams and falling dramatically on the charts.
Spotify wasn’t the only target. Apple Music also faced similar tampering, with track credits changed to “The blackpink,” plus audio playing in fast-forward. One song even dropped off the daily chart.
Shazam showed altered info too, replacing BLACKPINK’s name with unfamiliar artists.
Fans took to Twitter:

With “JUMP” seeing strong overseas results despite minimal promo, these coordinated hacks are causing real damage. YG Entertainment has yet to issue a statement, leaving fans confused and frustrated.

BLACKPINK’s ongoing streaming platform hacks mark a new low for the group’s digital presence as fans watch the chaos unfold.
