BLACKPINK, Stray Kids, Jin, aespa dominate 2025 BreakTudo Award nominations

The nominations for the BreakTudo Awards 2025 dropped on September 9. K-pop stars are everywhere this year.

BLACKPINK leads the pack with several nods. They’re up for International Female Group, International Music Video for “JUMP,” and International Fandom for their fans, Blinks. Soloist Jennie snagged two nominations: International Female Artist and International Hit of the Year with “Like Jennie.” Lisa scored nods for Global Artist and International Collaboration of the Year for “BORN AGAIN” with Doja Cat and RAYE.

The International Female Group category is packed with K-pop acts like aespa, BABYMONSTER, ITZY, TWICE, and BLACKPINK. They compete against groups like BINI (Philippines), FLO (UK), and 4EVE (Thailand).

On the male side, the International Male Group list reads like a K-pop roll call: ATEEZ, Enhypen, Seventeen, Stray Kids, and TXT are nominated along with BE:FIRST (Japan), Big Time Rush (US), and SB19 (Philippines).

BTS’s Jin grabbed a nod for International Hit of the Year with “Don’t Say You Love Me.” The song, released in May, already has over 400 million streams on Spotify.

K-pop hits nominated for K-pop Hit of the Year include TXT (“Beautiful Strangers”), Stray Kids (“Chk Chk Boom”), aespa (“Dirty Work”), BABYMONSTER (“DRIP”), ITZY (“Girls Will Be Girls”), HUNTR/X (“Golden”), BOYNEXTDOOR (“Nice Guy”), and IVE (“REBEL HEART”).

The BreakTudo Awards 2025 ceremony will be held on November 18 in São Paulo. The show will be streamed internationally on Telemilênio’s YouTube channel, and broadcast in Brazil on Box Brazil Play, Prime Video, Claro TV+, and Yeeaah TV.
